Yes, Dr. Nairn treats chronic conditions. She uses her knowledge of both internal medicine and integrative medicine to treat all conditions.

Yes – Dr. Nairn can see you as your primary care or if you prefer, she can see you in consultation (you keep your regular PCP).

Dr. Nairn treats acute issues. We make every effort to have same day/next day appointments available, though of course we cannot guarantee availability.

You can still be a patient! A large part of the integrative medicine concept is being proactive versus reactive. We look at preventing issues before the arise and promoting overall health and well-being.

Yes, we accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. We will file insurance as a convenience to you. We cannot guarantee coverage for any services provided. Any remaining balance after insurance is the patient’s responsibility. If filing insurance, deductibles, co-payments, coinsurance will be due prior to any services being rendered.

While we will accept most insurances, there is an additional membership fee that you will be responsible for that is not covered by insurance. Also, for new patients there is an initial/onboarding fee. Please contact us for further details.

Coverage of labs and other testing is complicated and to a great extend depends on the type of insurance you carry. Most routine tests are covered and will be filed through your insurance. As always, deductibles and extent of coverage needs to be taken into account. Occasionally, insurance will deny coverage of what is considered routine testing by physicians, and even through we can appeal and dispute these charges, if in the end the insurance declines to cover the testing, you may be responsible for the cost. Lastly, there are tests your physician may consider crucial for evaluation of your condition that are not covered by insurance. We will discuss these test and the associated costs with you prior to ordering and order only with your permission. For patients with high insurance deductibles, we have very cost effective alternatives.

While some practices and providers will order initial testing prior to your first visit, we prefer a more personalized approach to evaluation and treatment. Not every patient will need the same lab work and/or specialized testing. Dr. Nairn will recommend testing based on your conditions and symptoms. Also, some patients may have had labs or specialized testing recently.

Yes, while we try to avoid the use of excessive prescription medications, we do prescribe medications as necessary.

We accept self-pay patients. A monthly membership fee is still required. Please contact us for self-pay rates.
